It is one of the poorest countries in the region, with significant challenges related to poverty, social inequality, and political instability. These issues have had a significant impact on the lives of children, displaced persons, and impoverished communities in Bolivia.

Overview
The Brimsol Foundation is putting up much effort to safeguard and house displaced families, offer them life-saving relief, and aid their healing.
We work with local and national government authorities in Bolivia to improve the overall health, shelter, water, and education in the country. We empower the families who have lost everything and their children.
Child Poverty
One of the most significant challenges facing Bolivia is child poverty. According to UNICEF, around 60% of Bolivian children live in poverty, with indigenous and rural children being the most affected. This has resulted in inadequate access to healthcare, education, and basic necessities such as clean water and sanitation facilities. Malnutrition is also a significant problem, with around 25% of Bolivian children suffering from chronic malnutrition.

According to the World Bank, around 37% of the Bolivian population lives below the poverty line, with indigenous and rural populations being the most affected. Poverty has resulted in inadequate access to healthcare, education, and basic necessities such as clean water and sanitation facilities. In addition, Bolivia has also experienced significant political and economic instability in recent years, which has further exacerbated poverty and social inequality.

The Brimsol Foundation fights Bolivia’s hunger from the inside out. We offer essential monthly food assistance for more than 110,000 people. To help households have better access to food, our teams also provide medical assistance, nutrition, clean water, and safety.
